Accident Causes Traffic Back-Up

Traffic was slowed northbound for nearly an hour at the intersection of Highway 65 and 265 Monday afternoon after a three-vehicle crash.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Report, a pick-up truck driven by 67-year-old Larry Saint Clair of Harrison ran into the read of a SUV which then collided with another SUV.

One minor injury, to a woman from Tennessee in the first SUV hit, resulted from the crash. She was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson for treatment of her injuries.

The accident clean-up caused Highway 65 to go to one lane for over a mile during the time emergency personnel were working the scene.
