Voting for the April Municipal Election is underway in Missouri.
Polls are open until 7:00 tonight with several offices and ballot issues to be decided.
Among the races in Taney County include both Mayor’s Positions in Branson and Forsyth along with contested School Board Races for Bradleyville and Branson. Also up for vote is a Board Position for Central Taney County Fire District and the Board of Trustees in Taneyville. Ballot issues included the School Protection issue in the Kirbyville School District as well as ballot questions in Forsyth and Taneyville.
Two countywide issues highlight the Stone County Ballot with the renewal of the Tax Levy to continue funding the Developmental Disabilities Board and a Sales Tax for a 9-1-1 System. A Public Safety Tax is also on the ballot for voters in Kimberling City and a Fire Tax Levy in Hurley. Contested Alderman Races are on the ballot in Branson West, Crane, Galena, and Hurley along with the Board of Trustees in Blue Eye as well as School Board Races in Blue Eye, Crane, and Hurley. A seat is also up for election on the Southern Stone County Fire Board.
