Area Woman Faces Charges in Central Missouri

A Taney County Women is arrested in a central Missouri County on firearm and drug charges.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Cara Torner of Kissee Mills was arrested in Miller County on two felonies of Unlawful Possession of Firearms and possession of a controlled substance which is listed as methamphetamine.

Torner was held in the Miller County Jail in Tuscumbia for just over 24 hours before being released Sunday evening on a $25,000 bond.
