Big Cedar Golf is launching a new caddie program.
According to to a press release, “forecaddies will be available to golfers at Payne’s Valley, with hopes of expanding the program to other courses in the future.”
Current caddies are both experienced professionals and local caddies learning the trade. In addition to other services forecaddies will provide services including ball-tracking, bunker maintenance, course repair and club cleaning. There is a potential for walking or bag carrying caddies to be included later. Caddie requests must be emailed three days prior to play. “Guests will pay a recommended caddie fee and/or suggested gratuity directly to the caddie at the end of their round, based on the level of service they feel they received.”
“Caddies play an important role in improving the golf experience, and Johnny Morris hopes that the caddie program will aid in his vision of helping golfers enjoy more of the stunning Ozarks setting that makes Payne’s Valley so unique.”
