Branson's iconic Silver Dollar City theme park is leading the charge with a half-billion-dollar investment plan. This includes the opening of the first theme park resort in America’s Heartland by 2026, featuring 262 guest rooms with stunning views of the Ozark Mountains and Table Rock Lake, plus exclusive access to the park. This ambitious development underscores Silver Dollar City's commitment to enhancing the region's appeal while boosting local tourism and job opportunities. Additionally, 2024 saw the debut of a $30 million indoor family roller coaster, “Fire in the Hole,” further enriching the park's offerings【19】【20】【21】.

Other attractions include the recently launched Payne’s Valley Golf Course by Tiger Woods, offering a unique golfing experience, and the family-friendly Dig Town Adventure Park, which allows visitors to operate scaled-down construction equipment in creative activities like mini-golf【19】.

Branson is also expanding its dining scene with notable additions like Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen + Bar and Heroes Tastes + Taps, both located at Branson Landing. These establishments contribute to the city's dynamic culinary landscape, attracting food enthusiasts and tourists alike【19】.

For instance, the Imagine Hotels & Resorts Property, a $300 million resort set to open in 2026 in nearby Hollister, will feature a massive indoor waterpark, themed dining options, and extensive entertainment spaces【20】.

The check was presented to Superintendent Dr. Brian Wilson and Assistant Superintendent of District Operations, Dr. Sean Woods, by foundation board members Katie Adams, Ryan Gdovin, and Denise Olmstead.
