Branson Firefighters Busy Day Includes a Vehicle into a Building, Rescuing Baby Ducks

Sunday June 5th was a busy day for the Branson Fire Department.

According to a post on the Branson Fire Facebook Page, they day started with a vehicle that had veered off of Main Street and into the pool area of the Baymont Inn. No one was in the pool area at the time and the driver sustained only minor injuries according to the report. 

Later in the day, Branson Firefighters teamed up with the Western Taney County Fire Protection District to rescue five baby ducks from a storm drain on the Branson side of the Taneycomo Bridge. According to the post, firefighters used water to push the ducks out of the drain and to waiting firefighters. 

The post said that the department responded to 20 emergency incidents in the first 10 hours of the Sunday shift.
