As the calendar roles toward the end of the year and the signing period for Municipal Candidates in Missouri's April 2023 Election, one current official announces he is ready to sign-up for another term.
Larry Milton announces on his campaign Facebook Page that he intends to seek a second term as Branson Mayor. Milton first ran for elected office in 2019 and was elected Ward 2 Alderman before seeking and winning the Mayor's position in 2021.
Milton, along with several other candidates for board positions, pledged to end the Mask Mandate the City of Branson was under during the COVID-19 Pandemic and promptly did so after taking office.
"I am proud to say that over the last two years as your mayor, we have accomplished a number of positive changes for city staff, local businesses and most importantly the people, Milton says in the Facebook release.
Milton also talks about improvements in Public Safety, support of Ozark Mountain Christmas, and changing the culture at City Hall among his other accomplishments.
The sign-up period for the election runs December 6th-27th with the 2023 Municipal Election Date set for April 4.
The entire release can be seen on the Milton for Mayor Facebook Page.
