Alan Johnson was awarded the Employee of the Month Award on Tuesday night.
Johnson works in the Branson Utilities Department. Alderman Ralph LeBlanc presented Johnson with the award. The alderman said Alan was nominated for helping his coworkers and highlighted ways he did more than necessary.
“Alan was nominated, in part, for taking time out of his normal schedule to teach and mentor his fellow employees. Not only is he quick to help them get familiar with the operating equipment and teach them new tasks, but he finds creative ways to seek out and find their individual best skill set and potential,” LeBlanc said. The alderman expressed that Alan is more than a “team player.”
“Not only is he a team player and a leader but he is always looking for ways to do as much mechanical work as he can in-house to save money and ensure the City is a good steward of taxpayer dollars,” he said.
