Dr. David Dalton, professor of history and Elizabeth Hoyt Clark Chair of Humanities, will lecture as part of the C-SPAN2 program American History TV tomorrow morning, Saturday, Nov. 19. Times are as follows: 7 am, 10 am, 7 pm and 10 pm, all Central Standard Time.
“The lecture, grounded in late 19th century American history, addresses post-Civil War northern society, 1865-1900, in which several important themes in American history emerge: industrialization, urbanization, and immigration during the so-called ‘Gilded Age,’” Dalton said.
After the lecture’s first airing on Saturday, it will be available for viewing here: https://www.c-span.org/video/?523713-1/rise-industry-gilded-age
