Christian County Prosecutor - shooting was justified in a deputy-involved shooting.

The incident occurred on April 28 outside the Christian County Justice Center, where 52-year-old Travis Bullington from Sparta was involved in a fight with a woman.

The Christian County Prosecutor has determined that the shooting was justified in a deputy-involved shooting.

The incident occurred on April 28 outside the Christian County Justice Center, where 52-year-old Travis Bullington from Sparta was involved in a fight with a woman. Deputies intervened to break up the fight, but Bullington reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the woman. In response, a deputy shot Bullington, who later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The woman survived the shooting, and the deputy was unharmed.
