Cox Medical Center Branson receives the American College of Cardiology's NCDR Chest Pain-MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement for 2021, one of only 212 hospitals nationwide to be so honored.
In a press release, Cox Officials say the award reflects the fact that Cox has sustained achievement in the field for the past two years.
“Achieving the Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award two years in a row is evidence of our hospital’s continued dedication to delivering the highest quality cardiovascular care in patients with acute myocardial infarction,” says Rachel Stone, STEMI program coordinator at Cox Branson. “Meeting the award requirements set forth by The American College of Cardiology exhibits the teamwork and collaboration within our hospital as well as with our EMS partners and emergency departments from nearby hospitals. I am so proud to work alongside a team that is so dedicated to the care of our community.”
