As a frontal system completes its trip through the Lakes Region, heavy rain is impacting much of the area.

UPDATE 9:30
Reports to Ozarks Dynacom include a partial collapse at the side of the road on westbound Highway 76 east of the roundabout in Hollister. Emergency personnel are on the scene and have blocked off that section of road.

Also from Hollister, McDonald on Gage Drive has the parking lot covered with water.

Jason Wert of the Branson Tri-Lakes News reports that flooding has closed the Lakeside RV Park with campers being evacuated as well as flooding that has closed Branson's Stockstill Park.

In Arkansas, a Facebook post by the Marion County Scanner reports that the Creekside Nursing Home was evacuated due to water entering the facility. In addition, KTLO reports that the barber shop in downtown Yellville has flooded with the owner saying three feet of water has entered his shop.

Rain is beginning to taper off from west to east and will leave the area completely this afternoon.

UPDATE 8:30
The National Weather Service has issued as Flash Flood Emergency for Central Marion County. According to the National Weather Service, up to 11 inches of rain has fallen in some areas near Yellville, Flippin, and the surrounding area. County Officials report to KTLO in Mountain Home that government offices will be closed today as will the Marion County Library. Several roads are closed due to High Water.

Flash Flood Warnings remain in effect for most of the Lakes Region. Areas around Hollister have reported nearly eight inches of rain has fallen. Roark Valley Road in Branson and Highway J in Mincy are among the roads that have been closed. High water has also been reported over the road on Highway 76 near Mount Branson.

Some areas will receive five inches of rain or more according to National Weather Service Forecasters.

Many areas are already experiencing flooding or will shortly. Low water crossings could become impassible as the rain continues to fall.
