Forsyth City Clerk earns national honor

A Forsyth City Clerk has made a national honor roll.

Cheyenne Beasely has been the Forsyth City Clerk for the last 20 years, and her hard work has been recognized by General Code. The General Code Municipal Clerks Honor Roll is a special recognition program to honor Municipal Clerks. This year is the 50th anniversary of the honor roll.

The 2024 Honor Roll received over 400 submissions from 38 states from April 15 through April 25. Colleagues, citizens and coworkers are allowed to submit nominations for the clerk that has performed outstanding work and been an asset to the community.
