One of the first of many Fourth of July Independence Day Celebrations takes place in the Lakes Region over the weekend.

Many area residents and visitors were at College of the Ozarks Sunday evening for the 34th Annual Honor America Celebration co-sponsored by Branson 4 U Dot Com, Legends 1063, MY 100.1, and New Country 1029.

Attendees heard live music as well as participated in games and activities.

The half hour fireworks celebration was accompanied by music from the Hard Work U Concert Band.

C of O President Brad Johnson, during an interview a Legends 1063 Live Radio Party, says Honor America helps emphasize the Patriotic Pillar of College of the Ozarks.

Many communities and organizations will have celebrations over the next week and a half. Information on those can be found on the Fourth of July Events Page on this website.
