The Link Academy Basketball team is honored with a parade and ceremony at the Branson Landing.

The event took place late Wednesday afternoon with several vehicles donated from area businesses taking the Link Players from the north end of the Landing to the fountains where they were honored in a ceremony hosted by Branson4U.com Midday Host Jim Barber. Branson Mayor Larry Milton read a proclamation from the city honoring the team.

Link Academy, which is based out of Camp Kanakuk,  won the GEICO National Championship Tournament a year after taking second in that tournament. The Lions also won the Bass Pro Shops Tournament of Champions in January.
