The Superintendent of the Forsyth School says the four-day school week continues to benefit the district in several ways.
Jeff Mingus, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program says that the plan instituted by the District several years ago has had positive results for both the attitudes of both students and teachers and has also helped attracted experienced teachers to join the district.
Mingus also says the growth rate of the district is slow and steady upward, but does say officials have noticed an increase of new families in the region, saying that much of the growth in the past has been of families who move from different districts in the Lakes Region.
According to Mingus, there are enough facilities to take care of all the students but does say a next potential expansion would be to develop an Early Childhood Center.
