MSHP Works Pair of Serious Traffic Crashes Sunday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol works a pair of crashes resulting in serious injuries Sunday. 

The first occurred early Sunday morning on Highway F east of Bull Creek when a car went off the side of the road and overturned. Three people were injured including two seriously. 45-year-old Rebecca Bowers of Hollister and 52-year-old Andrew Sheldon of Forsyth were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Jesse Wilbur of Hollister, was treated for moderate injuries at the scene and was later taken into custody for possible DWI and possession of a controlled substance.

The other crash occurred just before 6:30 Sunday evening on Bee Creek Road just outside of Branson when a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Michelle Gagnier of Branson traveled off the right side of the road striking a culvert and overturning. The Missouri Highway Patrol report stated that Gagnier was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.
