Nixa Government Reminds Customers to Save Water

Nixa Utilities took to Facebook to remind their customers to avoid wasting water

The full post is below:

Nixa Utilities Customers: As the dry, summer weather sets in, we would like to remind our customers to be mindful to not waste water. Nixa Utilities has recently made improvements to assure that high quality water is available at all times, but we still need your help in the case of drought conditions or equipment failure. By being mindful of how much water we use, we can keep utility costs down, lower utility rates, and even lower your utility bill each month.

Here's a few ways you can help:

- Minimize outdoor watering as much as possible.

- Refrain from washing sidewalks, driveways, or other exterior surfaces.

- Run washers and dishwashers only when full.

- Watched for dripping faucets or constantly running toilets.
