Nixa voters to decide on recreational marijuana tax on April ballot

NIXA, Mo. — The Nixa City Council is sending a proposal for a three percent sales tax on non-medical marijuana sales to Nixa voters for the April 2 election.

The ballot question is phrased as follows:

According to the City of Nixa, if the measure is approved, the revenue will contribute to the city’s general fund.
