In honor of local veterans and their families, the City of Nixa is giving away 1,000 yard flags. The new program, called “Community Stars & Stripes” encourages people in Nixa to “Flag your yard, thank our veterans.”
Residents inside Nixa city limits may visit The X Center, now through November 8th to collect up to 2 American yard flags per address. We encourage citizens to decorate their yards patriotically following Halloween through Veterans Day on November 11th.
