Planned and Unplanned Work for City of Branson

The City of Branson is beginning work on a sewer project in a pair of subdivisions while also working on fixing a water issue in another neighborhood.

In a release Monday, the city announces the beginning of work on updating sewer lines in the Cantwell and Lucia Ridge Subdivisions over the next few months which will require some interruptions of service though work is planned weekdays during normal business hours. Residents in the area will be notified prior to the interruptions.

Meanwhile, a water main break in another neighborhood had crews working late Monday into the early morning hours Tuesday. In a Facebook Post, the city says that a water main break on Cliff Drive affected areas of the Hiawatha Heights Subdivision. While that leak was being repaired, another was discovered on Sunshine Street near First Baptist Church. Most water had been restored in that area as of early Tuesday morning but part of the work zone areas were still down to one lane.
