Power Outages Continue in SW Ozark County

White River Electric continues to work to get power restored for several hundred customers in southwest Ozark County.

According to the latest information from the cooperative, around 550 customers remain without power after the storms that moved through the region on Wednesday. Most of the outages are centered around the Theodosia area.

White River Officials tell Ozarks First that trees down over powerlines has slowed the process of restoring power in that region. White River tells customers not to try and cut the trees down themselves because they could accidently hit a charged line.

In Arkansas, the outages reported to Entergy and North Arkansas Electric have been repaired.
