The first in a series of big name concerts took place this past weekend at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale .
Morgan Wallen performed at the venue which hosted its last concert in 2022 when Garth Brooks performed three shows to open up the venue with traffic causing many delays with some patrons even missing the show altogether. Since then, improvements have been made to parking and the approach to the arena on Missouri State Highway 86.
Ozarks First Reporter Jesse Inman shared his experience at the concert saying the experience overall was smooth though lots of walking up and down hills was involved from the parking lot to the venue along with a lengthy process in leaving after the concert which took around an hour and a half. Inman did say the facilities were good with plenty of concessions and rest rooms available.
Several more concerts are scheduled for the summer including the Rolling Stones in July. Tickets for that concert will be available for purchase online beginning Friday at 10:00 am.
The complete recap of Jesse Inman's trip to Thunder Ridge can be found on the Ozarks First Website.
