Shooting North of Branson: One Person Dead, One Detained

A shooting just outside the Branson City Limits has left one person dead.

The Taney County Sheriff's Office tells Ozarks First that the incident occurred around Cannon Ball Loop, which is an access road to the west of Highway 65. Photos posted by Ozarks First indicates the incident happened at or near the Pine Valley Apartments and Studios. 

According to the Sheriff's Department, one person has died as a result of the shooting and another has been detained in connection with it.
