A line of thunderstorms move through the Lakes Region late Sunday night/early Monday morning leaving numerous trees down and thousands without power.

The National Weather Service Storm Reports include recorded wind gusts of 70-75 MPH in areas around Branson West and Kimberling City in Stone County while many areas reported 60 MPH Wind Gusts. Many trees have been reported down blocking many roads. A tree was reported down blocking Skyline Drive in Forsyth.  Law Enforcement tells Ozarks Dynacome that Highway 160 was blocked by a pair of trees just east of Merriam Woods with powerlines down on the road on Highway 176 in Merriam Woods.

Major Power Outages have been reported in much of the region with White River Valley Electric indicating nearly 13,900 customers without power including over 6800 in Taney County, over 2000 in Stone County, and over 4700 in Christian County.

A report to the National Weather Service in Little Rock indicates Entergy is reporting over 3500 outages in areas between Harrison and Bergman. Also many power outages were reported between Peel and Summit in Marion County.

Behind the storms, high winds and heavy rain continues to fall early Monday morning.

This story will continue to be updated as information becomes available.

NOTE: Power outages and road blockage has knocked Legends 1063 and Branson 4U off the air. Both stations are still streaming online. MY 100.1 and New Country 1029 are still on-air.
