Two People Injured at Copperhead Mountain Coaster

An accident on the roller coaster at the Shepherd of the Hills Adventure Park injuries two people.

Western Taney County Fire Officials tell the Branson Tri-Lakes News that first responders from both WTCFPD and Branson Fire and Rescue were called to the Copperhead Mountain Coaster Friday evening after a report of injuries at the coaster. Upon arrival, two people were rescued that had fallen out of the coaster during its run. Officials say the two people had sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Springfield Hospitals for treatment by Taney County Ambulance. The State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
