Branson's partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs is already doing well and is on track for more excitement.
The Branson Board of Aldermen was updated during Tuesday night's meeting regarding the Kansas City Chiefs' promotional partnership with the city. The presentation by City Communications Director Lisa Rau stated that the promotion has a dual purpose. One side of it is to gain visitors for Branson, and the other is to increase community engagement.
It was revealed that the Chiefs' logo will be included in the city and related organizations' email signatures. Branson will also take space on the team's jumbotron and over the PA system. Branson will also get to show off its branding on the ribbon board.
Additionally, the promotion with the Chiefs includes "Red Wednesday." On this day, Branson will take to Facebook Live in different areas and "raise the Chiefs flag in celebration." The goal of this is to raise "measurable engagement" and reach and exposure of the city's Facebook Page; it also involves the community. Legends 1063 and MY 100.1 will be a part of that event.
Later, a timeline of future events related to this promotion was discussed. The full presentation is available online.
