A Branson team claims the first ever event in the new Ozark Mountain Conference.
The Branson Lady Pirates claim the OMC Softball Tournament Title Friday at the Branson Rec Plex. The Lady Pirates began their day with a 1-0 win over Hillcrest as the Lady Pirates an obstruction call on a defender allowed the only run of the game to score. Later in the day, the Lady Pirates rallied in the last inning to knockoff Carl Junction then claimed a win over Bolivar in the final game.
The Lady Pirates are now 5-4 for the season and will play two opponents from their former conference this week, hosting COC schools Ozark on Tuesday and Nixa on Thursday.
