The Branson Football Pirates, 2-0 for the first time since 2014, also earn another distinction for the first time in even a longer period of time.
The Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters have the Pirates at Number 10 in this week's Class 5 State Poll, after a victory over previous seventh ranked Camdenton last week 35-14. Former Central Ozark Conference foes Carthage and Webb City are ranked in Class 5 as well, coming in fourth and sixth respectively.
The Pirates last appearance in the state rankings according to team coaches was in 2010.
The Pirates play their first ever Ozark Mountain Conference Football contest this week on the road at 1-1 Bolivar.
