In a game that took exactly 24 hours to complete, the Branson Pirates rally for a win over the Harrison Goblins.

After completing the first half of the first meeting between the schools in 40 years Friday before the game was caused due to a second lightning delay, the Pirates take the opening kick-off of the restart Saturday, marching down the field before quarterback Luke McCormick scored on a five-yard run around the end to erase a 7-3 Harrison advantage, then scored later in the quarter on a McCormick pass to Teagan Asbury to help the Pirates get a 23-7 win.

The Pirates added three Dane Effird field goals, one in the first quarter and two in the fourth to account for the final score. The Goblins lone score came on a Jaxon Ramsey run late in the second quarter.

With the win, Branson will keep the Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle Trophy until the two teams meet next year in Harrison.
