The College of the Ozarks Volleyball Team has begun its regular season.
A recap of releases from the first week of matches is below:
Lady Cat Classic Aug 30-31
The Lady Bobcats dropped their opening match of the Classic and of the season to Evangel, but then rallied to take the final four matches knocking off Avila, Stephens, Sterling, and Mission.
Sooner Athletic Conference Openers
The Lady Bobcats, along with the other College of the Ozark Programs, have joined the Sooner Athletic Conference for the upcoming season. The Volleyball squad opened play at home on Friday against Oklahoma City University, falling in four games 26-24, 22-25, 25-9, and 25-20. The Lady Bobcats rebounded for a straight set win over Southwestern Christian University Saturday 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.
The Lady Cats hit the road next weekend for more Sooner Athletic Conference action. They will travel to Nelson University for a Friday contest and Texas Wesleyan University on Saturday.
