Dailey Sets Branson Softball Career Mark for Hits

Branson Senior Sierra Dailey is now the Branson Softball Career Leader in number of hits.

Dailey's RBI Double in the fifth inning of Thursday's home finale against Kickapoo gave Dailey her 157th Career Hit, pushing her past Cat Ford for Number One on the list. Dailey has surpassed several players this season, including current Assistant Coach Gracie Jaeger, in moving to the top of the list. The accomplishment was a bright spot in an otherwise tough day for the Lady Pirates who fell 12-1 to the Lady Chiefs.

Dailey and the rest of the Lady Pirates will finish their regular season with two games at Bolivar on Saturday, playing the host Lady Liberators at 10:00 am followed by a game against Cassville.
