Forsyth Sports Update: First Track Meet, Baseball Wins Tournament

The Forsyth Baseball Panthers sweep through the Ozarks Baseball Classic in Harrison while the school also takes part in their first track meet.

The Baseball Panthers made a sweep of the tournament at the Equity Bank Sports Complex with a 6-1 win over the Harrison JV Team followed by a pair of 8-0 wins over Midland and Buffalo Island Central. 

Meanwhile, the Panthers began their first ever Track Season by participating in the annual Hollister Meet. 

According to information shared and posted on The Panther Zone Facebook Page, the efforts were led by Brynlie Yarnell who had two first place finishes in the Girls 1600 and 3200 Meter Runs. Other finishes included third place for Tamarkus Holmes in the Boys 100 Meter Dash as well as top finishes for Chris Halbrook in the Boys Long Jump (3rd) and High Jump (4th).
