Holiday Basketball Tournament Week

Holiday High School Basketball Tournaments are again happing in the region.

Here is a recap of MOARK Schools involved in Holliday Basketball Tournaments:
Harrison
The Goblins and Lady Goblins are again hosting the Lendel Thomas Classic Thursday through Saturday. One other MOARK School is joining the field as Branson will be among the eight schools in the Girls Tournament. Harrison's first game in the Girls Tournament will be against Salem at 8:20 Thursday while the Lady Goblins will play against Greenland at 7:20.

Branson
The Lady Pirates first game at the LT Classic is Thursday morning at 11:00 against Highland. The Branson Boys will again be playing in the Blue and Gold Tournament at Missouri State University. The Pirates open against Mount Vernon Thursday evening at 8:00 at Hammons Center. 

Reeds Spring
The Wolves are also at the Blue and Gold and will take on host Greenwood in the opening round Thursday at 12:30. The Reeds Spring Lady Wolves are entered in the Pink and White Classic at Drury University and will take on Ozark in the opening round Friday at 12:30 at Weiser Gym.

Hollister
Both teams are in the Walnut Grove Tournament which got underway over the weekend. The Tigers won their opening game on the Boys side knocking off Marionville 71-64. On the girls side, Macks Creek defeated the Lady Tigers 71-37.  In Monday second round action, Billings knocked off Hollister in the Boys Quarterfinal 59-42 while the Hollister Girls lost in the Consolation Round to Wheatland 66-40.  The final game for the Hollister Girls in the tournament will be Thursday morning at 10:30 while the Hollister Boys will next be in action will be in the fifth place brackey Friday afternoon at 4:30.

Blue Eye
The Lady Bulldogs are 2-0 in the Walnut Grove Tournament with wins over Hurley 43-14 and over Morrisville/Marion C Early 35-30. Blue Eye will play host Walnut Grove in the semi-finals at 6:00 Thursday.

Forsyth
The Panthers are heading to Highland, Arkansas to be a part of the Bad Boys Mowers Tournament, Both the Varsity and JV Boys teams are  taking part. The Varsity Panthers open play Thursday afternoon at 3:00 against Marion while the JV Panthers take on Thayer in tournament action Thursday morning at 10:00. 

In addition, Berryville High School is hosting its annual CS Bank Holiday Hoops Tournament Thursday through Saturday. Besides the host Bobcats and Lady Bobcats, other area schools involved include the Green Forest Boys and Girls along with the Crane Girls.
