MOARK Basketball Update: Harrison Completes Branson Sweep, Pirates Get Road Win

Among the games featured on MOARK Sports Tuesday night was another Branson-Harrison Match-up.

This time, it was the girls teams matching up and as it was for the boys the previous week, Harrison comes out on top. This time in Branson, the Lady Goblins held off the Lady Pirates 41-35, There could be a rematch however, as both teams are on the same side of the bracket at the upcoming Lendal Thomas Classic next week in Harrison. The two teams could meet on the second day if they both win or lose. While the Lady Pirates are off until the tournament, the Lady Goblins play Thursday night at home against Rogers. 

Meanwhile the Pirate Boys break a two-game losing streak started by last week's loss to the Goblins with a road win at Fair Grove 73-62. Broady Gillespie scored 30 points as the Pirates pulled away in the fourth quarter in a a game neither team led by more than four points in until the Pirate fourth quarter run. The Pirates play their last game before next week's Blue and Gold Tournament on Thursday in their home opener against Ozark.

Also last night on MOARK Sports, Reeds Spring lost on the road to Mount Vernon 59-39. 

In a rare Wednesday regular season game, the Forsyth Panthers tonight head to Evangel University in Springfield to play the Seneca Indians at the Ashcroft Center. Varsity game will start around 7:00 on MOARK Sports.
