Officials with the Branson and Harrison School Districts have decided to restart the football game called at halftime on Friday night later today.
Branson Activities Director Brandon Wilson says that the game will pick-up at the start of the second half. The Goblins got a late first half touchdown to take a 7-3 lead at half over the Pirates. The Game was delayed for around almost two hours during the second quarter due to lightning in the area.
As the second half was about to start around 10:00 pm, another lightning strike caused another delay after which officials decided to halt the game.
The finish of the game will begin at 6:00 tonight. The game will be covered on MOARK Sports Dot Com as well as on Legends 1063 and New Country 1029.
The winner of the contest will receive the Pella Windows and Doors Border Battle Trophy presented by MOARK Sports.
