Amanda Catherine Adelle Castro was born on June 21, 1992 in San Diego, California, the beloved daughter of Derrick Richard Anthony “Rick” Castro and Susan Jeffie (Smith) Castro.  She was baptized at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in San Diego, CA. At the age of one, Amanda moved with her family to Branson. She grew up in Branson and graduated from Branson High School.  During her formative years, she attended Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Branson. She was confirmed and had her first communion at Our Lady of the Lake.

After high school, Amanda attended cosmetology school where she became a licensed cosmetologist.  She worked in other salons before opening her own shop, Hairway to Heaven in Branson. She became the proud mom to her two sons, Wyatt and Eli who she loved beyond measure.

In her life, she faced challenges and met them head-on, always trying to better herself.

Amanda will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and her enjoyment of the outdoors.  Riding four-wheelers, boating, wakeboarding, swimming, camping and fishing were some of her favorite things to do while taking in the beauty and inspiration of creation along with loving her sons, Wyatt and Eli Castro.

Amanda passed into eternity at the age of 31 on June 3, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her Papa, Edward Castro and grandparents, Roy Lee Fine and Catherine Helen Fine.

Amanda will be deeply missed by her family: sons, Wyatt and Eli Castro; her parents, Rick & Susan Castro all of Branson; brother, Derrick Castro, Jr. and niece Natalie Hope Castro-Witte of Branson; brother, Austin Castro and nephew Johnathan Anthony Castro of Forsyth; her Nana, Katherine Adelle Castro of San Diego; uncle, Ed and his wife Tanna Castro of San Diego; uncle Mark and his wife Marri Castro of Utah; cousins, Kassandra Castro of Los Angeles, CA, Brandon Castro of San Diego, Trent & his wife Kari Castro, Brent & his wife Chelsee Castro, Sabrina Castro and Melissa Castro-Zundel & her husband Braison Zundel all of Utah; uncle, Edward Tomasko of Phoenix, AZ; cousins, Gina Kay Cummins of Phoenix and Shealee & her husband Casey Gartner of Phoenix as well as many other family members and friends.

A celebration of her life and funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 203 Vaughn Rd., Branson, MO on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
