Arthur Rae Barrett, age 94, of Shell Knob, Missouri passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at his home.
He was born August 31, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of William Edward Barrett Senior and Mable Bokamper, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Marilyn; one stepson, Randy Huddleston and one stepdaughter, Jeannie Evans.
Surviving are three sons, Art Barrett and his wife Angela Martyn of Pleasant Hill, California, Mitchell Barrett and his wife Cheryl of Eastman, Georgia, and Michael Henley of San Jose, California; two daughters, Janice Butler of Visalia, California, and Nancy Frisbee of North Carolina; one brother, William Edward Barrett, Jr. of Shell Knob, Missouri and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arthur grew up and attended school in St. Louis, Missouri graduating from Normandy High School. He served in the United States Marines. Arthur worked in quality assurance for FMC in the California Bay area. He also worked for Singer and was a plant manager at Sefton, Container Corp of America.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Peace Lutheran Church in Shell Knob, Missouri. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
