Bonnie Highbarger, age 83, of Exeter, Missouri.

Bonnie Highbarger, age 83, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at her home.

She was born March 6, 1938 in Bois D'Arc, Missouri the daughter of Dennis and Wilma (Swadley) Nelson.  On July 4, 1956 in Butterfield, Missouri she was united in marriage to Homer Highbarger, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Jackie Dotson and her husband Kenneth of Cassville, Missouri and Tammy Taylor of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Tiffany Bradley, Daniel Scott, Stormy Holtzman, Rose Webb and Jerry Taylor; one step-grandson, Russell Dotson; eight great-grandchildren, Lane, Justin, Vince, Bonnie June, Ashlynn, Zane, Zach and Levi and one step-great-grandson, Brantley.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one grandson, Johnny Utter.

Bonnie graduated from Exeter High School.  After graduation she met Homer, they married and started a family.  For twelve years they made their home in Independence, Missouri, before returning to this area.  She was employed by Ozark Mountain Apparel in Purdy, Missouri as a seamstress for several years.  Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors and her flowers, but most of all she loved her family.  She was a member of Church of Christ in Ridgely.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
