Brice Christopher “Chris” Hadley passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13th, at age seventy-nine in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on May 20, 1945, to Dr. Calvin Brice and Ona Mae Hadley in Cassville, Missouri. Chris is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Brie (Troy); brother, Steve (Michelle). Also survived by native son, Steve LaPointe and wife, Erlidawn Roy, and their children, Mato and Waseya; and Chris’s beloved pup, Maddie.

Chris grew up in Waynesville, Missouri, where he began a life-long passion for the outdoors through trout fishing, camping, and hunting. All who knew him personally or professionally knew his love for storytelling about his outdoor adventures.

Chris received his degree in Business Administration from Drury College in Springfield, Missouri. He was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and played basketball under the tutelage of Pistol Pete’s father.

After college, Chris moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he began his career supporting healthcare professionals in banking. During this time, Chris came to know the Lord as his Savior and has walked in his footsteps ever since. He was active in the Webster Hills United Methodist Church.

Chris moved to Colorado in 1995 and eventually settled in Kiowa with Carol. He was active in Cowboy Church and Men’s Bible Study. Chris continued his work as a financial consultant through Hadley & Associates, offered outdoors experiences through Hadley Recreational Services, and served medical professionals through banking. He founded the Denver Medical Study Group in 2008 which engages medical professionals to learn and discuss the latest issues impacting the healthcare community. This educational opportunity continues today.

Chris's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. May he find eternal rest.

A funeral service will be held for Chris at 1 PM at Horan and McConaty Funeral Services, 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora, CO, 80014 on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Chris will be laid to rest at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 30, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri with his parents and other family members. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the service. Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
