Carol May “Carla” (Levick) Nichols-Baughman, age 86, of Marionville, Missouri passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024 at The Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Missouri.
She was born September 11, 1938 in St. Albans, Vermont the daughter of George Dewey and Viola (Cross) Levick. On August 30, 1976 in Miami, Oklahoma she was united in marriage to Arnold “Nick” Nichols, who preceded her in death on January 26, 1997. Also preceding her in death were her parents; second husband, Fred Baughman; two sons, James Lomax, Jr. and Kip Church; a grandson, Gregory Sparks; two brothers; four sisters; four special friends, Bernice, Barbara, Francis and Karlene and her beloved Boston Terrier, Logan.
Surviving are one daughter, Madonna Sparks of Cassville, Missouri; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Carol graduated from high school. She was a homemaker and had lived in this area since 1972. Carol welcomed everyone with open arms, and had a big heart filled with love to share with anyone that was lucky enough to have known her. She loved babysitting, listening to country music, dancing, playing cards, karaoke, watching scary movies and going to yard sales, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Carol will be missed greatly by all who knew her.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 20, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Warren Creason will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
