Debra Joan Dye, age 75, Blue Eye, Missouri
Cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Debra Joan Dye, entered into Heaven on January 15, 2024.
Debra was born on December 15, 1948 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She moved with her family to California where she attended school and graduated from Los Altos High School. She worked as a distribution clerk with the United States Postal Service where she met her husband, Larry Dye. They were married on June 3, 1982 in Las Vegas.
To Debra, faith, family, and friends were everything. She was an active and respected figure at Calvary Chapel East Anaheim in California and warmly regarded for her profound faith. She was a loving mother, investing time and care into her home and family. She was also creative and artistic. She enjoyed painting beautiful and exquisite pieces to share with others. Her affection and devotion endeared her to friends and neighbors alike.
In June of 2023, Debra and Larry moved from California to Blue Eye to be with friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Phyllis Lawrence.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Larry Dye of Blue Eye; daughter, Kimberly Good (David Good) of West Concord, MN; son, Mark Clifford; son, Justin Dye (Kristine Alcantara) of Irvine, CA; her sister Ann Bray of Blue Eye; four grandchildren, David Hoft, Katie Good, Jason Good, and Cassandra Dye, along with six great grandchildren, and many friends.
Services will be Friday, January 19, 2024 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with funeral services following at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Debra will be laid to rest in private services at Blue Eye Cemetery.
