Don G. Denley, age 75, Forsyth, Missouri

Don G. Denley, 75, Forsyth entered into rest on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab after a long illness.   Memorial services will be held Sat. July 1, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, Forsyth.

Don Gilmore Denley was born Jan. 2, 1948 in Parchman, Mississippi, the son of Don V. and Euvie (Wolfe) Denley.  He graduated from Shelby High School and attended the Delta Community College in Moorhead, Miss.  Don married Linda Wymore on Jan. 5, 1979 in Cleveland, Mississippi.  To this union they were blessed with three children.

Don worked for Baxter Healthcare as a calibration officer, and went to work for the City of Cleveland Police Department and 911 as Supervisor of Communication. 

He enjoyed watching westerns and sitcoms on TV. He was a member of the Taney County Elks Lodge and was a past president.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Don is survived by his children Don Denley of Forsyth; Mandy Scott of Bossier City, La; Jessica Jordan of Cleveland, Miss.; brother Lester Denley of Gulfport, Miss., and two grandsons.
