Ellen Ann Knickerbocker, age 84, of Reeds Spring, Missouri.
Ellen Ann Knickerbocker, age 84, of Reeds Spring, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2024. She was born on May 25, 1940. Ellen was a beacon of love and warmth to her family and friends.
Ellen graduated from Corydon High School in 1958 and furthered her education at Centerville Community College. She had a fulfilling career, retiring from Northwestern Bell in 1990, where she was respected for her dedication and work ethic. After retirement, Ellen worked for the family-owned business, Knickerbocker Construction. In 2005, Ellen and Bob retired to Table Rock Lake.
Ellen’s passions included cooking, sewing, and quilting, which she shared generously with her loved ones. She found joy in sitting on her back patio, enjoying the view of the lake and the company of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Knickerbocker; her son, Jeffrey (Veronica) Knickerbocker; her daughter, Jill (Derek) Holmes; grandchildren: Aleisha (Lucas) Knight, Skylar (Emily) Knickerbocker, Ashlee (Kyle) Freeman, Tasha (Jake) Campos, Dalton Knickerbocker, Grant Holmes, and Regan Holmes; great-grandchildren: Sophia Knickerbocker, Sage Knickerbocker, and Cooper Freeman. She also leaves behind her sister, Janet (Stan) Grismore; brother, Glen (Linda) Holm; sister-in-law, Sandra Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Lurie Holm.
Ellen’s legacy of love and kindness will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who were fortunate to know her.
