Emmanuel Antonio “Manny” Hernandez-Cardona

Emmanuel Antonio “Manny” Hernandez-Cardona.

Beloved son, father and friend, Emmanuel Antonio “Manny” Hernandez-Cardona entered into rest on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at his home in Branson at the age of 54.

Manny was born on January 24, 1970 in Santurce, Puerto Rico.  As a young man, he moved to Pennsylvania in search of better opportunities and to pursue his interests working with computers. He was an accomplished videographer and photographer for many years.  He later received a degree from YTI and pursued a career as a medical assistant that found him working in hospitals, clinics and the state prison.  Manny had many previous occupations including as a Municipal Police Officer in Guaynabo PR, and a firefighter in Lancaster, but his most cherished career was his time with the Sight and Sound Family in Lancaster, PA and later Branson, MO after moving here.

Manny was a passionate soul, with a fierce commitment to Jesus Christ, living his life as a testimony to Christ and loving his family.  He combined his love of Christ with his zeal for motorcycles as part of the Bikers for Christ.  Along with riding motorcycles, one of Manny’s other favorite pastimes was fishing in Table Rock Lake.

Manny will be remembered for his wisdom and abundance of empathy.  He was an amazing hugger, had the best smile as well as a great sense of humor. His presence lit up a room.  He was also a valiant warrior, bravely enduring his battle with cancer till the end. Manny will be reunited in heaven with his late wife, Amy Jo Hernandez and will also be reunited with his father Jose Juan Hernandez-Villalba and sister Blanca Milagros Hernandez-Cardona.

Manny will be deeply missed by his family:  mother, Luisa Milagros Cardona-Cordero; children, Nordeliz Marie Hernandez-Monroig, Emmanuel Antonio Hernandez-Monroig, Fabiola Escalera Melendez, and Abdiel Jose Hernandez-Melendez; and siblings Rosayda Hernandez-Cardona and Jose Joaquin Hernandez-Cardona along with many friends.

Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
