Frank James “Bear” Middleton, age 69, of Hoxie, Arkansas

          Frank James “Bear” Middleton, age 69, of Hoxie, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Springfield Rehabilitation HealthCare Center in Springfield, Missouri.

            He was born December 27, 1953 in Riverside, California the son of James and Louise (Callison) Middleton, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were three sisters.

            Surviving are one son, Jason Middleton of Hoxie, Arkansas; one daughter, Tracy Taylor and her husband Nick of Haysville, Kansas; one brother, Carless Middleton of Washburn, Missouri; two sisters, Kathy Matlock and her husband Johnny of Garfield, Arkansas and Gracie Middleton of Washburn, Missouri and two grandchildren.

            Bear attended school in Hoxie, Arkansas. He was employed by Farm Service Incorporated as a diesel mechanic from where he retired. Bear enjoyed working on cars and fishing.

            Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral home in Cassville.
