Garland Wayne Wade

Garland Wayne Wade, 63.

Garland Wayne Wade was born on September 26, 1961, in Branson, Missouri. As a youngster, his family moved to Mt. Vernon. After graduating from Mt. Vernon High School, Wayne attended School of the Ozarks in Point Lookout. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the early 1980s. Later, he worked with his family’s trucking company. For 22 years he drove the open road, with a particular affection for Peterbilt trucks.

Beyond work, Wayne was a Master Mason, dearly loving all his lodge brothers and embracing the brotherhood of the Scottish Rite. He was an active member of Southside Baptist in Aurora and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and competition shooting. Wayne loved muscle cars, motorcycles, and good music—an embodiment of his spirit of adventure.

Wayne entered into Heaven at the age of 63 on October 16, 2024, in Aurora, Missouri surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Alvira Wade.

Loving memories of Wayne will be forever cherished by his beloved wife, Mary Wade of Aurora, his sons, Loren “Jason” Jordan & wife Samantha of Aurora, MO, Roy and wife Emma Wade of Lead Hill, AR, and Wayne Elias Wade of Lead Hill, as well as his adoring daughter Tiffany Albig and her husband Daniel of Branson West, his two brothers and his twelve grandchildren.

Visitation for Wayne will be Wednesday evening, October 23 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson with Masonic Service and Scottish Rites to be rendered at 6:30 pm.  Funeral services will be Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the funeral home and burial following in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson with military honors.

In Wayne’s memory, donations are requested to the Masonic Home of Missouri, 6033 N. Masonic Dr. Suite A, Columbia, MO 65202 or the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
