Gary Alan Manwarren, age 65, of Purdy, Missouri.

Gary Alan Manwarren, age 65, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. 

He was born February 25, 1956 in Sterling, Kansas, the son of Clarence and Mildred (Clayton) Manwarren, Sr., who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one brother, Clarence Manwarren, Jr. 

Surviving him are one son, Nick Manwarren and his wife Autumn of Purdy, Missouri; one daughter, Heather Cumpton and her husband Allan of Cassville, Missouri; one brother, Roger Manwarren of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sisters, Linda Prewitt and her husband Danny of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Bonnie Kearney and her husband Jack of Fayetteville, Arkansas; best friend, Cliff Heiney of Cassville, Missouri and four grandchildren, Mikayla, Teagan, Logan and Nakoma. 

Gary attended school in Fayetteville, Arkansas. After school he began working at Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation as a manager, it was at this time he started his family. Moving to this area in 1982 he began working for Morton Buildings, Incorporated in construction as a framer. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting and muscle cars. He liked farming and taking care of his cattle but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Ed Lassley will conduct the services.
