Gary Keen was born in Illinois to Gladys & Donald Keen on January 27, 1955. He left us on February 3, 2022 to be with the Lord in Branson. Gary was a United States Veteran and had served in the United States Air Force from 1976 to 1980. He loved his country as he loved his family. He was also a computer technician for over 25 years. His passion was to become a computer programmer.
He met his wife in 1980 and was married in 1990 to Christina (Chris) Keen, she survives. Also surviving are their 3 children, Holly (Ryan) Gullett, James Straub (Step Son), Karen (Gary) Schaeperkoetter. Also surviving are Gary’s sister, Donna (Bill) Blankenship of Missouri, brother Mike (Mary) Keen of Missouri, brother Terry Keen of Illinois, brother Gerry (Christie) Keen of Indiana, and sister Rhonda (Walt) Wimberly of Missouri. Gary also had several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Marlene Long.
Gary loved life and his family. He loved his dog Ivy deeply. He also enjoyed fishing and doing family things. Gary loved to joke around and tell jokes. The jokes became a part of him even when the jokes were bad. Jokes became well known to everyone as “DAD” jokes and still do. Gary will be missed but never forgotten.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:30 -3:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with private burial at a later date.
