It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Joseph Mulick, affectionately known as Joe, on December 20, 2023, in Branson, MO.

He was born in 1949, in Missouri to George and Elizabeth Mulick. Joe received his education at St. Procopius Academy in Lisle, IL, and furthered his studies at Lewis University in DuPage County, IL.

Joe married the love of his life, Cynthia Quinn, in 1972 in Lisle. This year they celebrated over 51 wonderful years of marriage, love and family.

Joe's career was as dynamic as his personality, from working as a railroad engineer with the GM Electro-Motive Division in Chicago and Kentucky, to managing a McDonald's in Arkansas, and ultimately finding his niche in telecommunications in St. Louis, leading to a position in Frederick, Maryland.

Five years ago, Joe and Cindy made their home in Branson, integrating into the Sunset Cove community where they were quickly adopted as part of the Dock 3 family.

A proud Papa and protector of his family, Joe cherished his role as husband, father and grandfather. Joe was deeply proud and thankful for his family and his love for them was immeasurable. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Cindy Mulick of Branson; children, Andy Mulick (Priscilla Mutton) of Portland, OR, Nancy McEuen (Matt McEuen) of St. Louis, MO, and Katie Lindsay (Jason Lindsay) of Eureka, MO, his grandchildren, Josh Mulick, Jake McEuen, Hannah McEuen, Noah Lindsay, Ella Lindsay, and Ava Lindsay; his sister, Patti Steele of Plantation, FL, and his beloved boxer, Hazel Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Peggy Mulick and brother Mike Mulick.

Known for his sweet tooth, selfless nature, and pride in his nickname, 'Grumpy,' Joe never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand or share a moment of humor. His spirited disposition was truly infectious, leaving a legacy of love, dedication, the importance of family and the joy of helping others.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be at Woodland Hills Family Church, 3953 Green Mountain Dr, Branson at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024.
